Sophie Tyrrell: 2020 Sophie completed the CPD certified advanced pessary training.
She has over 20 years’ experience as a physiotherapist working for Queens Road Medical Practice and is based in Guernsey
She treats men's and women's conditions and are not limited to rehabilitation of women safely back to sport post pregnancy, treating incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, urgency, over active bladder, coccyxdynia, abdominal separation, low back pain, faecal incontinence and constipation.
Sophie is also a qualified Pilates instructor.
Dr Kathleen Gillies Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist:
2020 Kathy completed CPD certified advanced pessary training.
Kathy is the lead for gynae oncology at Jersey General Hospital and specialises in performing early cancer surgery.
She liaises with the Royal Marsden in the UK where more advanced cancer surgery is undertaken.
She has a special interest in colposcopy and urogynaecology, working with the hospital’s multidisciplinary team in pelvic floor problems and urinary/faecal incontinence.
Kathy also enjoys obstetrics and carries out an antenatal clinic each week.

Initially specialising in musculoskeletal conditions, after having her own children Jo developed an interest in women's health conditions. She fully understands the sensitive nature and taboo associated with incontinence, prolapse and pelvic pain, and treats every patient with compassion and discretion. Jo also offers a postnatal women's health assessment - the One Stop Mum Check and treatment following childbirth, antenatal physiotherapy and scar treatment for the management of bothersome surgical scars.

Cassie is a Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, APPI Pilates Instructor
Cassie qualified as a Physiotherapist from London South Bank University. She then worked at Lewisham Hospital completing inpatient rotations before becoming a static Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapist. Cassie also focuses on Women’s Health Physiotherapy along with rehabilitation and physio-led Pilates. Her main treatment areas are ante and postnatal Musculo-skeletal conditions – including lower back pain, pelvic girdle pain, diastasis recti, coccyx pain, recovery from c-section/vaginal births and postnatal return to running. Plus pelvic conditions such as pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and dyspareunia.
